Gases Tested.

CO   HC  O2  CO2 & LAMBDA.

Modern vehicles fail the MOT gas test on a variety of faults. Because most vehicles on the road today (1993 onwards) are fitted with a catalytic converter, the emissions are monitored and controlled by the vehicles engine management system and are not adjustable.

Finding the cause of high emissions can be complicated and expensive if parts are replaced unnecessarily.
