EOBD =   European On board Diagnostics.

 

All petrol vehicles produced from 1st Jan 2001 will have the new EOBD diagnostic socket in the vehicle.

At Car Tune I use the Autodiagnos to diagnose all EOBD faults.

If the MIL light (Malfunction indicator light) is illuminated or flashes the management system has detected a fault and will log the fault in the control unit.
